    Hey guys, it’s that time again. This year we are conducting our normal two-day 14-hour classes at many convenient locations. Most of the classes are weekday, but there are some weekend classes, so make sure and check the day as well as the date. There is plenty of time to take your C.E. as the reporting sytem that the State set up is working, so just make sure you get all 14-hours and send in your renewal prior to August 31st and you will be fine. Our seminars provide the CILB required 14 hours in an interesting, humorous, and thought provoking class. Below is an outline of what the State of Florida requires of contractors. If you have any questions, please call me .

    Our classes are approved by the Construction Industry Board for Certified and Registered: General, Building, Residential, Plumbing, Mechanical, Roofing, Air Conditioning, Underground, Pool, Sheet Metal, Specialty, Drywall, Solar, Pollutant Storage and Precision Tank Testing.

    Each contractor is required to take one hour of each of the following:
                a.  worker’s compensation;
                b.  job-site safety;
                c.  business skills;
                d.  advanced code;
                e.  wind mitigation;    [General, Building, Residential, Roofing, Glazing and Specialty]
                f.  laws and rules;                    and
                eight hours of general subject matter.
    Contractors must meet these requirements in each renewal cycle, regardless of how many times you have taken these courses in the past!   Each contractor is required to complete the full 14 hours of C.E. each renewal period.  After the mandatory “core” courses are completed, the remaining hours of C.E. may be completed by taking any course(s) approved by CILB provided that the total number of hours taken is 14-hours or more.

    Pre-register and pre-pay for all 14-hours: $200

    Registration fee includes: • morning coffee • course handout • live interactive instruction • attendance certificate • DBPR reporting of all licensed attendees.

    Proper photo identification must be provided at registration
